Last night in China

This is our last night in Guangdong Province and we are packing our suitcases once again. Our guide called today and our paperwork all went well at the consulate appointment so tomorrow we go for the swearing in to say yes we will take care of Addison. We then will be given Addison's Passport and the famous sealed envelope to take to the states to give to immigration. Once we pass through immigration Addison will become an American Citizen. We didn't do much again today but, eat and swim. The first picture is the girls going to breakfast and the second one is Addison making things from construction paper. She makes all kinds of cute things. We took the girls back to the pool and Ali just couldn't hang. This might be my last post because I don't know if the Disney Hotel will have internet. Our consulate appointment is at 4 o'clock and we are catching the train in Guangzhou at 5. We have 2 guides helping us do this so we should be O.K. It takes 2 hours to get to Hong Kong then we will be on our own. Everyone tells us that most people in Hong Kong speak English. We will take the girls to Disney Friday and head to the Hong Kong airport Saturday morning to fly out at 10:05. Tuscarawas County here we come. This has been another wonderful adventure and I thank God in guiding us to adopt these beautiful little girls. They not only have a Mom and Dad but they have an entire family that loves them. They are lucky little girls and we are a very lucky family to have them. Thanks to everyone that has followed our journey to Addison. It made it very comforting to read everyone's post.

We went to the local grocery store this evening and got us a snack. (Chicken Jerky)

I just got up to get Sydney ready for school and thought I'd check in real quick. Everything went really good with Kell last night. It was like she wasn't even here, but I like not feeling well played a big part in that. I'm not going to do well on Syd's first day of Kindergarten, just dropping Kell off made me sad she looked too little to be going to that big school. Other than that we are soo excited for you guys to come home. Tuscarawas County has been too quite!!! Ali already takes the mall by storm when you guys shop I can't wait to see Addison after Ali rubs off alittle. We are so proud of you and Robin, and also to have the girls as part of the family. You were right when you said having the support of your famile makes the journey so much easier. Be safe and have a blast at Disney! I hope the flight goes well, and fast were all ready for you to come home.

Well wait till Cheryl see's the chicken jerky. We all know how well she loves them with their claws and beaks. Makes me want to and eat jerky. Oh I am eating jerky made from cow. Looks and I am sure tastes much better. The girls look more, and more adjusted together everytime I see them. Yes I can say that the girls are very lucky to have you and Robin as their parents and of course all of us as their family. Can not wait to get them both home so I can give them hugs and kisses. I can't wait until the holidays, especially Christmas so we can watch Addison enjoy the food, gifts, decorations and our family. What a lucky child she is.

By the way Gina I did work a very long and busy shift. Sometimes I wonder about myself, but mother are you going to fix algea "soup" when they come home. I will be there!
Love Ya,
Darlene
